WELCOME DR. ABBY!

Adams County Veterinary Services is excited to announce that Dr. Abby Smith will be joining our team.

Dr. Abigail Smith was born and raised in West Virginia. She attended Marshall University where she double majored and received a B.S. in both Biology and Chemistry. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Tuskegee University in Alabama. After vet school she practiced at a small animal clinic in Louisiana for one year until moving back to West Virginia after the birth of her first child. She has been with Ripley Paws Veterinary Clinic for the last 15 years.

She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have two children together. They also have two dogs, three cats, three goats, four chickens, and four rabbits. She enjoys hiking, working outdoors, and attending church activities with her family on her time off. She is looking forward to helping the people of Adams County with their pet’s needs.
